The Dental Assistant Program is designed to prepare students for a rewarding career in the dental field, offering comprehensive training in clinical and administrative skills. This program equips students with the knowledge and hands-on experience necessary to assist dentists and dental hygienists in various settings, from private practices to specialty clinics.

Students will learn key skills in dental procedures, patient care, infection control, radiography, chairside assistance, dental software, and office management. The curriculum includes both classroom instruction and practical experience through a practicum in real-world dental offices. Graduates of the program will be prepared to take the Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) exam and the Ohio Dental Radiographer Exam and can pursue entry-level positions as dental assistants, orthodontic assistants, or administrative dental support roles.
