Beginners Yoga Class – #644

Patty is a Licensed Physical Therapist with 25 years of clinical experience. She has been practicing yoga for over two decades and became certified as a yoga instructor a few years ago. As a PT, she observes people’s postures and movements. She would notice the potential for injuries and long-term damage to people’s spines and joints due to improper cueing or inadequate instruction in other yoga classes. She also knew the profound benefit of incorporating a safe yoga practice into her physical therapy patients’ rehab programs after being discharged from her care. Out of a need to combine traditional medical treatment and alternative healing, she created Yoga Physical Therapy classes to allow people with pain and mobility problems to practice safely and with less pain. It’s a unique blend of rehab science and traditional yoga.
